The hat series

So when you're in theatre you come in contact with many different hats. Some you make, some you find, and some catch your eye in the store. These are a few of the many fun hats that are way too much fun to play with.

This one I found in the dollar store a few weeks ago. Too fun to pass for a pic moment.
This would be me in my semi-hat at work. I don't usually wear a headset during the show, but this show is helped a lot. Yeah for Altar Boyz!

Ahh, the straw boater. I bought this last year for a show I designed for MCC called Picasso at the Lapine Agile. This is one of my favorites.
This is a hat I made for another show at MCC last year. It's blue leather. Also made a brown one. Fun stuff.
This is me attempting the cowgirl theme for Follies a few months ago. Amber let me borrow her hat. I looked pretty good if I do say so myself. Haha!
So this was actually taken this summer in Sedona when I was working the shows. This matching hat and scarf were made and given to me by one of my actors. It was so sweet of her. Now that it's cold outside I actually get to wear it!
This hat I found in our costume storage for Southwest Shakespeare. It was adorable. I'm sure there will be more to come at a future date. :)

Sunsets

I love Sundays. Amber, Brad and I walked out of church Sunday mid-afternoon and this is what we saw. Gorgeous!

Don't worry...be happy!

So Amber and I have way to much fun once it hits midnight. My friend was having a rough night last night so we decided to cheer him up. Warning... This is a direct result of lack of sleep, food and a few other things. Proceed at your own risk.

I love rain!

So it poured all day Friday. It was amazing. This first picture was taken at about 3 in the afternoon. It was dark and I loved every minute of it. Even though I was at a dead stop on the freeway due to traffic, I still loved it.
Rain clouds. Gorgeous! And yes, my window says SMILE thanks to Brad.

Randomness

These are just a few fun random photos I've taken. :)
My niece Andy!
Every girl needs a pillow like this.
On a sculpture in Sedona, AZ.
Cause Oscar Myer has a way with....
This is a pic I took back stage of Romeo & Juliet of refracted light.
This would be a sleeping nun. Washington DC airport a year ago. Tee hee hee.
My little Chinese cousin Meigan. Adorable!
Freaky spider on my laundry basket in Sedona this summer.
When it rains it pours. Flooded the street outside my parents house and the little moat in their neighboors yard.
Frost on my windshield. Cool effect.

Birthday at Sea World

My sister Lindsey and I decided to take a spontanious trip for our birthday, since it's less than a week apart. We up and went to San Diego. We have a family friend there to stay with who lives about 20 min from the theme park. We had a lot of fun. So here are some of the picture I took with my phone. Of course there are many, many more, but I would actually have to sit down and scan them. What fun is there in that?

Here are some seagulls on a random car in the parking lot. They are much cooler than pigeons. This is a gorgeous picture that is on the wall when you come off the ride in Wild Arctic. Behold it's prettiness. Adorable polar bear in Wild Arctic. This is Wally. Say hi Wally!
I took this one for Amie. We have a penguin joke. Watch Madagascar and you might understand it a little better.
Proud in pink!
Oh... yawn.
Yeah, Shamu pretty much rocks my world! And you see those four sections that make up the sign, yeah, those rotate. It was cool.
This is the current background on my phone. It's awesome.
I was messing with the color.
Baloooooga!

This one needs a little explination. So if you've ever been to SW there is the section where you can watch the Orca's swimming in their tank. I was standing there taking pictures(see above) when I looked down and saw this. It's the sun refracting through the tank water onto the wet cobblestone floor. It was amazing. I couldn't pass up a picture like this. Even if it is a little fuzzy from my phone. Totally worth it.
